Stranded
A downloadable game
Description :
You crash landed on an unknown planet but all hope is not lost...
In the distance you see an abandoned satellite station, maybe you can use it to help you get off this planet?
Project Overview:
This project represents a culmination of approximately 15 hours of work spread over a 4-week period, completed alongside other school assignments. Due to the limited time frame and concurrent academic responsibilities, certain features, such as an in-game menu or a proper exit function, were not included in this iteration of the project.
Controls:
To navigate and interact within the project, the following basic controls have been implemented:
- WASD Keys: These keys are used for movement within the game environment. 'W' moves the player forward, 'S' moves them backward, while 'A' and 'D' are used for strafing left and right, respectively.
- Mouse Movement: The mouse controls the camera and the direction in which the player looks. Moving the mouse around will change the player's view within the game world, allowing for a full 360-degree exploration of the surroundings.
- Spacebar: This key is used for jumping. Pressing the spacebar will make the player character jump in the game, allowing them to navigate over obstacles or reach elevated areas.
- Shift Key: Holding down the shift key while moving will enable the player to move faster. This can be used in conjunction with the WASD keys for quicker navigation across the game environment.
Please note that as this is a preliminary version developed for academic purposes, the controls and features are basic and serve to demonstrate core functionality. Future iterations may include more advanced controls and additional features, depending on the scope and requirements of the project.
